The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Podzianowski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Karim looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A lazy left from Podzianowski finds it's target.

It looks like Abdul Karim has been cut.
Karim jabs Podzianowski to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mario Podzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Podzianowski drops Karim with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Karim looks back up at him and smiles so Podzianowski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Podzianowski looks to land a combination but Karim avoids it well.
Karim is still on wobbly legs! Can Podzianowski finish him?
Karim is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Podzianowski doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Karim crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Karim's bad books for that mishap!
