With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles LaFontier!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a nice outside leg kick.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been informed that LaFontier has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
LaFontier moves to clinch but Brown breaks away
and Brown counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

LaFontier gets a clinch.
Brown blocking some punches.
Brown swings away with an uppercut that misses.
LaFontier can't find room to land a body shot as Brown controls the action.
LaFontier throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Brown blocks the elbow strike.
Still in the clinch, Brown scores with a nice short uppercut.
Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
LaFontier lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Brown throws a blind hook that connects with the side of LaFontiers head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LaFontier struggles to land a body shot inside as Brown controls his hands.
LaFontier gets through Brown's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
LaFontier pushes off an throws an elbow but Brown leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
LaFontier doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
LaFontier swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A nice left hand lands by LaFontier.
A short uppercut from Brown.
LaFontier lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Brown on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
LaFontier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
LaFontier throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.
LaFontier lands a left hand.
Brown tries to work over LaFontier's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
LaFontier misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
LaFontier misses with a two punch combination.
LaFontier with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brown to score with a decent uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

LaFontier shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
LaFontier tries to score with a low kick but Brown moves his leg out of the way.
LaFontier misses the shot to the body.
Brown misses with an uppercut. LaFontier saw that one coming.
LaFontier throws out a counter right but Brown avoids it with no problem.
Brown lands with a nice body punch.
Brown moves out of range of the body kick.
LaFontier throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brown misses with a shot to the body
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brown scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from LaFontier.
Yorick Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles LaFontier.

Donk. Brown catches LaFontier right on the button with a cross.
Nice defenses there by Brown.
LaFontier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
LaFontier moves out of range as Brown strikes.
LaFontier finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Brown's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and LaFontier falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
