Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Blahyi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blahyi comes into the arena with All Hail Liberia Hail !!!! blaring out of the sound system. Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ralek Gracie - Ginagi. Joshua Blahyi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a head kick but Blahyi moves out of range.
Blahyi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jackson sprawls and moves away.

and Blahyi counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that.
Blahyi wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Blahyi controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blahyi moves into full mount! Jackson won't be happy about that!

Jackson told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Blahyi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jackson shrugs it off.

Blahyi has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.
