Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ravil Ahmedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad The Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Impaler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blues Saraceno - Dogs of War. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmedov cracks The Impaler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ahmedov connects with a single shot there.
Ahmedov swings widly with a right hand
and The Impaler makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ahmedov misses with a lunging right hand
and The Impaler counters with a nice leg kick.
Ahmedov misses with a body shot
and The Impaler counters with a straight right hand.
The Impaler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ahmedov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Ravil Ahmedov has been cut.
Ahmedov throws a lazy uppercut
and The Impaler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheers as The Impaler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ahmedov doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ahmedov misses with a left hand
and The Impaler counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The Impaler moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A big right followed by a crushing left from The Impaler knocks Ahmedov out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vlad The Impaler!
Vlad The Impaler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
