The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muradov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bagomedov manages to avoid it.
Muradov jabs at Bagomedov's body.
Bagomedov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Muradov sprawls well. Muradov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bagomedov gets slowly back to his feet.
Khabib Bagomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Muradov moves into the clinch.
Bagomedov struggles to land a body shot inside as Muradov controls his hands.
Bagomedov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Muradov.

Muradov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bagomedov shoots in for a double leg but Muradov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Issa Muradov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khabib Bagomedov.
Muradov lands a glancing blow to the side of Bagomedov's head.

It looks like Khabib Bagomedov has been cut.
Bagomedov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bagomedov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Muradov as he jumps to the side.
A little feinted left hand from Muradov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Muradov connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Bagomedov covering up! Muradov comes in with a big uppercut and Bagomedov goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
