Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Elo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Elo's choice of entrance music: Lordi. Tero Elo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kingsley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've been hearing reports that Kingsley has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Elo is looking to control Kingsley's arms but Kingsley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Elo has his back to the cage.
Elo is working for takedown but Kingsley is calmly controlling the position for now.

Nice sprawl there from Kingsley as Elo shoots in.
Elo goes for a double leg but Kingsley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kingsley continues to drive forward.
Elo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kingsley pinned against the cage. Kingsley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kingsley cracks Elo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kingsley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tero Elo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Elo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kingsley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Elo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kingsley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Elo can do to turn this around?
Kingsley has a hand on Elo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Elo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Elo is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Elo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Elo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kingsley is on top in guard.
Elo controls Kingsley momentarily but Kingsley frees himself.
Elo wants to stand up but Kingsley is controlling him.

Elo is trying to stand.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kingsley in particular looking to stall.
Elo wants to get back to full guard.
Kingsley is thwarting Elo's attempts to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Elo is looking for a sweep. Kingsley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kingsley is not content to let Elo control the position.

Elo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kingsley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Elo decides to stand back up.
Elo has his takedown stuffed
and Kingsley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
James Kingsley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tero Elo.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Kingsley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tero Elo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Elo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tero Elo.
I think Kingsley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking James Kingsley rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Tero Elo spoke after the fight, saying 'I felt great...but was not enough...sorry to let everyone dow...i feel like sh..t...i will get back to the gym train hard and finish my contract with honour'.
