The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tron fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roll manages to avoid it.
Roll with the counter takedown but Tron avoids it easily.

Tron has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ironfist MMA in the buildup to the fight.

Roll fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tron to the ground. Roll is now in Tron's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tron is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roll defends well.

and Tron counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Roll dives in and scores a takedown into Tron's guard.
Roll is pushing down on Tron's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tron is fighting to maintain full guard but Roll has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tron is defending against the submission attempts here by Roll.

Roll is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Roll won't let Tron get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Tron leaves Roll with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tony Tron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Just Roll.
Roll chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tron can pounce on him.
That kick from Tron tenderised Roll's leg. Roll is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tron ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Roll avoids the head kick by Tron.
Roll avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tron connects with a right that clearly hurt Roll. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Tron proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Roll collapses and taps out under the pressure!
