The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roberts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roberts throws an elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Roberts's guard. Nice move by Silva!

Roberts isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Silva stacks Roberts on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Silva!

Silva has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Roberts is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Silva yanks on the arm and Roberts is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Silva.
