The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira tries to clinch there but Butcher circles away.
Oliveira throws a push kick but Butcher slaps the foot to one side.
Oliveira misses with a body kick.
Butcher drops down looking for a counter takedown but Oliveira sprawls and moves away.
Butcher ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Oliveira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Butcher to the mat! Butcher manages to get full guard.
Oliveira content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
