The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Byeson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Byeson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boyka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boyka needs to keep his hands up - Byeson had a free shot at his head there.

Boyka changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Byeson throws a lazy right hand but Boyka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Byeson, as that shot connected.
Byeson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boyka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've been told by Boyka's head coaches at Cozad MMA St Petersburg that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Boyka blocks a jab.
Boyka swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Byeson scores with a hook.
Byeson fails to land with a series of punches.
Byeson throws a big shot that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Byeson misses with an uppercut.
Boyka went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Byeson jabs Boyka right on the nose. Boyka blinks but takes it well.
Byeson clobbers Boyka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boyka is rocked!
Byeson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Byeson lands a big right hook! Boyka looks hurt but is still standing! Byeson lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Boyka falls down and Byeson dives in with a huge hammer fist! Boyka's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Byeson runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
