The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruslan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rachi misses with a wild body shot.
Ruslan connects with a body shot that sends Rachi's belly button to the back.
Rachi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ruslan throws an overhand right that lands on Rachi's shoulder, as Rachi tries to avoid the shot.
Rachi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ruslan staying out of range there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A telegraphed right hand from Ruslan misses the target.
The fighters circling - Ruslan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big left from Ruslan misses.
Rachi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ruslan.
Rachi scores with a jab to the head.
Rachi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ruslan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ruslan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rachi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ruslan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rachi.
Ruslan is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rachi with a body shot.
Ruslan walks into a straight right hand from Rachi.

Ruslan is rocked!
Rachi finds Ruslan's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ruslan flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rachi lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ruslan will be OK.
