Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willian Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaxon Williams!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johns.
Williams lands a jab-cross combination.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johns.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams misses with a two punch combination.
Johns shoots in but Williams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willian Johns. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johns to the mat! Johns manages to get full guard.
Johns thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Williams trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom.

Johns looking for subs off his back but Williams has passed one foot through into half guard.
Johns keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Johns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johns is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.
Williams sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Johns defending well though.
Williams is keen to just control but Johns is a slippery customer.
Johns lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Williams tries to pass to full mount but Johns defends it.
Williams with the ground and pound but Johns uses the opportunity to regain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johns looking for a sweep. Not yet Johns, not yet.
Johns trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Williams throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Johns throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johns goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Williams continues to drive forward.
Williams scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Williams throws a combination that misses

and Johns counters by clinching up.
Johns tries a knee to the head but Williams blocks it.
Williams lands an elbow that stopped Johns in his tracks for a moment.
Johns tries to pull guard but Williams holds him up against the cage and eventually Johns drops back down to his feet.
Johns drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Williams using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Johns has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams throws an elbow that misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Williams - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Williams lands an elbow that stopped Johns in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Willian Johns has been cut.
Johns is trying to drag Williams to the mat but Williams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Johns is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Williams to keep the fight standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johns tries for a takedown. No joy.
Johns is working for takedown but Williams is calmly controlling the position for now.
Williams lands a nice elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaxon Williams dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Willian Johns's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!



Johns gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams throwing strikes but missing.

Johns had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Williams with a flurry of punches that miss.
Williams throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom.

Williams is sitting in close to Johns's body. Johns has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Williams is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Williams is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Johns.
