The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Joan lands in his opponent's guard.

Joan is keen to just control but Lethal is a slippery customer.

Lethal has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lethal throws a quick counter head kick but Joan was just out of range.

Joan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lethal tries to counter with a takedown but Joan is quick to defend against it.
Lethal tries to keep at a distance but Joan has taken the fight into the clinch.
