Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ba staying out of range there.
Ba throws a head kick that half lands.
Ba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Furlong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Furlong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ba misses with a head kick.
Furlong keeps the fight on the outside.
Ba moves out of range of the strikes.

Ba gets caught flat footed, as Furlong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Furlong wants to control from the top but Ba keeps moving.
Ba wants to stand up but Furlong is controlling him.
Furlong scoring with some ground and pound.
Furlong works over Ba with some ground and pound from guard.
Ba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Furlong on the ground.
Furlong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ba works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Furlong pushes down on Ba's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Furlong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ba is trying to stand up here but Furlong is controlling him well.
Furlong is taking a breather. Ba says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Furlong is keen to just control but Ba is a slippery customer.
Ba wants to get back to his feet.

Furlong is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ba tries to buck Furlong off but he can't manage it.
Ba trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Furlong looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ba trying desperately to get to his feet.
Furlong pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Ba is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Furlong has taken his back.
Ba seems to have got his legs back now.
Furlong is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Ba is covering up but some of the strikes from Furlong are getting through and doing damage.
Ba is trying to get back to his feet but Furlong has full control of the position and if anything, Ba has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Furlong wants to control but Ba is keeping busy.

Furlong has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Ba is defending well but eventually Furlong manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Ba has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
