Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between todd labod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). todd labod looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like todd labod has been cut.
labod looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hart lands with a kick to the ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hart lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends labod sprawling to the canvas. Hart follows him down, looking for the kill. Can labod hang on?
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hart in particular looking to stall.
Hart is tying to control. labod wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hart decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hart lands a nice hook to labod's body. labod takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
labod could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hart fails to land with a series of punches.
Hart lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with labod but labod pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. labod looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hart decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hart shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hart throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by labod.
todd labod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hart lands with a kick to the temple. labod shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hart throws a nice looking combination but labod bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hart tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
todd labod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Hart.
Hart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around labod's waist but labod gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hart off to one side.

Hart closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hart wants to control but labod is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hart wants to stand but labod is controlling his arm.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
labod tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hart presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

labod throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and labod takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hart throws a head kick that half lands.
Hart connects with a high kick.
Hart lands with a slapping head kick.

Hart gets a takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
labod looks like he's trying to stand up.

labod trying to hold on to Hart's head to control him but Hart postures up.
Hart has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
labod is refusing to be controlled, as Hart sits in half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
labod wants to control but Hart is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
labod wants to improve his position but Hart is controlling well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and labod counters by moving into the clinch.

Hart drops down looking for an ankle pick but labod pulls his leg out and moves away.

labod swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

labod throws an overhand right that lands on Hart's shoulder, as Hart tries to avoid the shot.

and Hart counters with a head kick. That will keep labod thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Greg Hart seems to be getting the better of the standup.

labod's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hart can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as labod is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

labod tries to hold on but Hart pushes him away.
Hart trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hart blocks labod's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
labod tries to lock up and control but Hart gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
labod is wriggling around trying to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hart wants to control the pace but labod is squirming around nicely.
Hart looking to ground and pound but labod is blocking nicely.
Greg Hart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
labod tries to hold on but Hart postures up.
Hart trying to control but labod is having none of it.
