The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burke leaves Catipay with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Burke has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Catipay.
Catipay missing with a left hand there. Burke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Catipay clinches.
Catipay stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Burke is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Burke blocks a body shot from Catipay.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burke is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Catipay rolls with it to try and escape but Burke cranks on the arm and Catipay is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
