PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes into the arena with Denial blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slayer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slayer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Slayer wants to finish this one by submission but Torres is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Slayer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torres knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slayer on the ground.

Torres is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Torres pushes Slayer off looking to stand but Slayer dives back in and keeps control.

Torres has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Slayer is working away from the top position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slayer connects with a nice short shot to Torres's temple.

Slayer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Torres defends it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Torres's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Slayer blocks Torres's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Slayer has control of Torres's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Torres regains control of the situation pretty easily.

and Torres counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slayer's guard now.
