The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dream drives through and clinches with Gilson against the cage.
Dream goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gilson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gilson tries to pull guard but Dream holds him up against the cage and eventually Gilson drops back down to his feet.
Gilson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dream.
Dream fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Dream tries a body shot but Gilson blocks it.
Gilson goes for a takedown attempt but Dream pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gilson throws a jab but it's blocked by Dream.
Gilson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dream was well out of range. Poor timing from Gilson.
Dream closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dream moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dream uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gilson.
Dream fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gilson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dream.
Dream fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gilson.
Dream tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gilson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dream clinches up with Gilson and pushes him back against the cage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Dream.
A shot in the inside from Dream.
Dream stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dream creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gilson with a big uppercut! Gilson tries to clinch up but Dream pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gilson to the mat! Gilson covers up and Dream unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
