Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Shaughnessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaughnessy has chosen I Against I - Massive Attack & Mos Def as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shaughnessy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Khan scrambles back to his feet.
Shaughnessy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Shaughnessy misses with a few strikes there.
Khan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Shaughnessy counters with a right hand to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Shaughnessy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Khan's hands.
Khan tries to land a leg kick but Shaughnessy saw it coming and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shaughnessy throws a hook but Khan avoids it easily.

Shaughnessy pounces like a tiger and cracks Khan with a vicious hook! Khan is down but not out! Shaughnessy follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
