PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke On Roids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Farofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think On Roids might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Duke Nukem Quotes!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

On Roids throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Farofa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. On Roids is in Farofa's guard.

On Roids stands up and waves to Farofa to follow him.
Farofa misses with the combination.

On Roids bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A slow jab from Farofa misses its intended target.

On Roids closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

On Roids and Farofa are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. On Roids throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Farofa into next week! Ooooh that was huge! On Roids knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

In his post fight interview, Duke On Roids started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
