Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hilario Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hilario Horn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksander Smirnov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Horn takes a swing at Smirnov's ribcage but misses.
And Smirnov tries to counter it with a takedown but Horn pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Horn feints and as Smirnov raises his hands in defense, Horn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Horn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Horn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smirnov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smirnov wants to control the position but Horn says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Horn trying to control the pace.
Horn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Horn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Horn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smirnov sprawls well initially but Horn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Horn prevents Smirnov from improving his position.
Horn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smirnov defends it well.
Horn is thwarting Smirnov's attempts to control the position.
Horn seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smirnov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
