Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cool Cucumber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cucumber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Master was covering up waiting for the punch and Cucumber finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cucumber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cucumber tries to free his leg and advance position but Master is retaining full guard.
Cucumber trying to control but Master is working from the bottom.
Master is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Master isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cucumber stacks Master on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cucumber!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cucumber wants to control but Master is keeping him busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cucumber clinches up with Master and pushes him back against the cage.

Master breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Master circles away from the clinch attempt.
Master tries to counter with a clinch but Cucumber shakes him off and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cool Cucumber dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Master shoots in but no luck this time.
Master is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cucumber sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Master shoots in looking for a takedown. Cucumber tries to sprawl out of it but Master keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cucumber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cool Cucumber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Master.
Master tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cucumber paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cucumber on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Master. Master obviously looking to wear him down.
Master shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cucumber is trying to defend but Master finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Cucumber tries to roll over but Master keeps him under control.
Cucumber regains full guard. Nicely done.
Master content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cucumber has locked up a guillotine! Cucumber's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Master is holding on here and Cucumber must be using up a lot of energy. Master has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cucumber gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
