Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Eash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Fu Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panda has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. Kung Fu Panda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Eash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kung Fu Panda!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Eash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Panda pushes off an throws an elbow but Eash leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Eash lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Kung Fu Panda has been cut.
Panda trying to control the position but instead, Eash has worked for underhooks and has pushed Panda into the cage.
Eash misses with a knee strike.
Eash lands a body shot.
Eash avoids the elbow strike from Panda, against the cage.
Panda is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Panda tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Panda lands an elbow inside that Eash shrugs off.
Panda comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Panda takes an elbow to the temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eash lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Panda or not.

Eash breaks the clinch.
Panda bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Eash getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Eash fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Panda walks into a straight right hand from Eash.

Eash lands a body shot.
Eash scores with a jab.
Eash connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Eash lands a high kick!

Eash has managed to clinch.
Eash wants to break the clinch but can't.

Eash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Panda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Eash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Eash feints a jab promting Panda to slip. Eash then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Panda slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Panda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Eash looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Panda tries to clinch there but Eash circles away.

Eash moves into the clinch successfully.
Panda putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Eash in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Eash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Eash lands a jab-cross combination.
Eash is breathing heavily.
Panda keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Panda tries to clinch up but Eash circles away and keeps his distance.
Panda is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Eash.

Eash stalks Panda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Panda's face. Panda staggers backwards, shaken.
Panda tries to close the distance and clinch but Eash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A nice combination there by Eash.
Panda takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Panda takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Panda moves in looking to clinch but Eash pushes him off.
Eash motions for Panda to come forward. Eash throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Eash is working the combinations to good effect here.

Mike Eash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eash lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

We've been informed that Panda has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The referee calls for Eash to work.
Eash's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Panda takes a knee right on the jaw!
Panda throws a knee to the head but misses.
Panda looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Panda tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Eash is trying to maintain a safe position but Panda gets an underhook and turns Eash into the cage.

Panda lands a nice knee to the body.
Eash takes an elbow to the temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Eash dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kung Fu Panda's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Good exchange - Eash coming out on top.

Panda wants to clinch up but Eash keeps it at a distance.

Eash has closed the distance and engaged Panda in a clinch.

Eash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eash thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Panda if he has to take too many more of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Panda lands with an uppercut that bounces Eash off the cage and back into range.
Panda moves in looking to clinch but Eash pushes him off.

Eash closes the distance and pushes Panda back into the cage.

Eash on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Panda tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Eash avoids it.

Eash takes an elbow to the forehead.
Kung Fu Panda seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Eash lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Eash lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Panda is looking to control Eash's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Panda avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eash wants to take a breather but Panda is having none of it.

Panda regains full guard. Nicely done.
Eash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panda on the ground.

Panda has his feet on Eash's thighs here. He's pushed Eash off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Eash screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kung Fu Panda!
A very excited looking Kung Fu Panda rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
