Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Heggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thiago Tavares has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thiago Tavares seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Heggs.
Tavares scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tavares misses with a low kick as Heggs jumps back.
Tavares sets himself, and Heggs steps forward looking for the clinch! Tavares avoids it this time.
Heggs stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tavares.
A telegraphed right hand from Tavares misses the target.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Heggs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tavares - the referee stops the clock and Heggs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tavares. Heggs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tavares cracks Heggs with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tavares has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Heggs to stand back up!

Are you kidding me?! Tavares ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Heggs clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
