Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malakai Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malakai Rex will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Dallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malakai Rex!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex throws a sloppy head kick and Dallas moves out of range easily.
Dallas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A head kick misses from Rex.
Dallas is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Rex.
Dallas has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rex lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dallas backwards.
Rex lands a shot to the body.
Rex missing with knees to the body.
Rex lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dallas backwards.
It looks like Joe Dallas has been cut.
Rex is trying to force a seperation but Dallas has the dominant position.
Rex working hard to break the clinch.
Dallas dodges an elbow strike from Rex.
Rex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dallas has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rex misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rex breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rex throws a one two combo.
Rex drops Dallas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dallas looks back up at him and smiles so Rex waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dallas is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rex throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A head kick misses from Rex.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rex.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dallas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rex lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Dallas head around and knocks him out cold! Rex hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Malakai Rex!
In his post fight interview, Malakai Rex started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
