Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyron Wilkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins tries to clinch but Lesnar moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wilkins has Lesnar pressed against the cage, preventing Lesnar from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lesnar tries to pull guard but Wilkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Lesnar drops back down to his feet.
Wilkins is trying to break the clinch but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilkins is trying to trip Lesnar. He has hold of a leg but Lesnar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wilkins persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilkins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lesnar, up you get!

Wilkins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lesnar flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilkins.

Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilkins, pushing him back against the cage.

Wilkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wilkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lesnar swivels and escapes.
Lesnar throws a counter combo.

Lesnar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lesnar wants it to stay on the feet.

Wilkins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lesnar is trying to defend but Wilkins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wilkins content to control rather than advance.
Wilkins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lesnar for as long as he can get away with.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wilkins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lesnar sees it coming and defends easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lesnar is looking to escape.
Wilkins not doing much here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wilkins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lesnar defends it nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lesnar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Lesnar throws a series of punches but Wilkins avoids them all with ease.
Lesnar keeps the fight on the outside.

Lesnar instigates a clinch.
A right hand to the body from Wilkins.
Lesnar tries to circle away but Wilkins has him pinned against the cage.
Wilkins tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Wilkins blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Wilkins manages to pull guard.

Lesnar is fighting to break Wilkins's control of his arms but Wilkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Wilkins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Wilkins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lesnar is aware though and is defending well.
Wilkins punching from the bottom - just letting Lesnar know he's still in a fight.

Wilkins is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lesnar rolls with it to try and escape but Wilkins cranks on the arm and Lesnar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
