Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Brack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Ashfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brack fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Ashfield scores a takedown into full mount!
Brack tries to lock up and control but Ashfield gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Brack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ashfield wants to get back to full guard but Brack has passed into side control.

Brack stands up from mount. Strange move.
Brack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ashfield misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ashfield swats away the attempt to clinch by Brack.

Brack looks up at the clock and then as Ashfield takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Brack smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ashfield wants to control but Brack postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lawrence Ashfield will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ashfield has Brack up against the cage in a clinch.

Ashfield postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brack is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ashfield, into his guard.

Brack had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ashfield is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brack Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ashfield's back instead.
Brack connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Ashfield to escape the position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Brack takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Ashfield counters with a shoot takedown. Brack fights it but they end up in guard.

Ashfield stands up from Brack's guard - Ashfield perhaps looking for a knockout.

Ashfield clinches up with Brack and pushes him back against the cage.

Ashfield throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brack on the side of the head.
Ashfield closes the distance and clinches up with Brack, looking for a takedown. Ashfield pushes Brack against the cage but Brack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ashfield doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ashfield manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brack seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Brack has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ashfield off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ashfield crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brack - the referee stops the clock and Ashfield gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brack. Ashfield manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Don Brack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brack thuds a left hand into Ashfield's body.

Brack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brack showed some decent athleticism there.

Ashfield has one foot on Brack's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Brack is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ashfield has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ashfield, pushing him back against the cage.
Ashfield goes for a takedown attempt but Brack pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brack shoots in for a takedown but Ashfield shows good takedown defense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Lawrence Ashfield.
Well Ashfield has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
