The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grushevky tries to avoid it but Meier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grushevky to the ground. Grushevky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Grushevky darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Werner Meier has been cut.

Grushevky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
