Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bostar Tyraanicao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo has chosen Fireball - Pitbull as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyraanicao displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Melo throws out the jab.

Renan Melo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyraanicao slaps away a takedown attempt from Melo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Melo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
