Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anakin Skywalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Opie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anakin Skywalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brad Opie!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opie has a takedown stuffed.
Skywalker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Opie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Skywalker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Opie swivels and escapes.
Opie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Skywalker went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Opie misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Skywalker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Opie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skywalker tries to avoid it but Opie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skywalker to the ground. Skywalker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Skywalker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Opie avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anakin Skywalker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Opie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Opie misses with a wild combination.
Skywalker appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Opie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skywalker tries to avoid it but Opie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skywalker to the ground. Skywalker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Skywalker throwing a counter right hand but Opie manages to avoid it.
Opie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skywalker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Opie somewhat.
Sloppy strikes from Opie. Those never looked like landing.
Skywalker throws a hook but Opie blocks it.

Opie shoots in and bounces Skywalker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Opie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Opie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Opie trying to control but Skywalker is working from the bottom.

Opie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skywalker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Opie has gone for a leg lock! Skywalker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Opie's guard.

Opie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Skywalker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Skywalker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Opie trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Skywalker throws a big elbow that misses.
Opie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Skywalker trying to control the position from guard on top but Opie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Skywalker is posturing up here but Opie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Skywalker tries to roll out but it's too tight and Skywalker has to tap! Slick submission there by Opie!
