Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bradly Danielson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Maeda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Maeda works Danielson's body with a nice hook.
Maeda lands a nice hook to Danielson's body. Danielson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maeda ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maeda fails with an attempt to clinch.
Danielson lands a nice looking body shot.
Maeda lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Danielson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Danielson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Maeda.
Maeda thumps Danielson with a low kick.
A jab from Danielson finds it's way through Maeda's defenses.

Maeda shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Maeda was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maeda misses with the ground and pound.
Maeda throws a strike aimed at the side of Danielson's head but Danielson avoids it well.

Maeda tries to advance to mount but can't.
Maeda misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Danielson is not content to let Maeda control the position.
Maeda in side control, throwing shots but Danielson defends.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maeda has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Danielson!

Maeda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like Bradly Danielson has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maeda wants to control the pace but Danielson is squirming around nicely.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maeda cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bradly Danielson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bradly Danielson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Mitsuyo Maeda thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
