Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noel Cooley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Eisenburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel Cooley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noel Cooley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luca Eisenburg!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eisenburg clinches up with Cooley and pushes him back against the cage.

Eisenburg pulls guard.

Eisenburg is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cooley is aware though and is defending well.

Eisenburg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cooley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Eisenburg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cooley's guard.

Cooley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Cooley is looking for a kimura but Eisenburg is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cooley to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooley is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Cooley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Eisenburg is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eisenburg wants to control but Cooley is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Eisenburg gets full guard.
Cooley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Eisenburg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cooley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Eisenburg has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cooley has passed into side control.
Eisenburg is looking to reverse the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cooley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Eisenburg for as long as he can get away with.
You can see the frustration on Eisenburg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Eisenburg scores with a takedown into Cooley's guard.

Cooley has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Eisenburg has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Cooley jumps guard and drags Eisenburg to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Cooley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cooley wants to stand but Eisenburg is controlling the position.
Cooley looking for a sweep. Not yet Cooley, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Noel Cooley will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Eisenburg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cooley was covering up waiting for the punch and Eisenburg finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cooley is working an open guard so Eisenburg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Eisenburg shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cooley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cooley is trying to improve his position.

Eisenburg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Eisenburg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Eisenburg is breathing heavily.

Eisenburg is trying to move to mount but Cooley reverses beautifully and ends up in Eisenburg's guard.
Eisenburg not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cooley's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Eisenburg is trying to control the position but Cooley postures up.
Eisenburg looking to control but Cooley passes into half guard.
Cooley is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Eisenburg is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Cooley jumps into side control!
Eisenburg tries to bench press Cooley off him but Cooley keeps the position.

Cooley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eisenburg, who protects the arm well.

Cooley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eisenburg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cooley has hold of Eisenburg's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Eisenburg tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cooley cranks the arm and Eisenburg screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Eisenburg, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Noel Cooley!
