Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimentiy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boykin comes to the cage accompanied by Пересмотри. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hearns's choice of entrance music: Black Eyed Bruiser. Dimentiy Boykin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 30 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimentiy Boykin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Hearns!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hearns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boykin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Boykin scores with a hook to the body. Hearns takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hearns attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hearns throws a chopping leg kick but Boykin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hearns buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hearns slips a jab and a cross from Boykin.
Boykin fails with a takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Hearns misses its intended target.
Hearns tries to bum rush Boykin with a series of wild strikes but Boykin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hearns has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boykin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boykin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hearns is looking to stand up but Boykin won't let him.

Boykin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hearns gets to his feet. Boykin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boykin shoots in but Hearns avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hearns unleashes a big counter combination but Boykin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Thomas Hearns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hearns clinches with his opponent.

Hearns breaks from the clinch.

Boykin tries to keep at a distance but Hearns has taken the fight into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boykin.
Hearns lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boykin backwards.

Hearns breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boykin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Sloppy strikes from Boykin. Those never looked like landing.
Boykin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hearns to score with a decent uppercut.

Hearns moves into range and clinches up with Boykin.
Boykin tries to pull guard but Hearns holds him up against the cage and eventually Boykin drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dimentiy Boykin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hearns wants to break free but Boykin has control.
Boykin looking for a takedown.
Hearns swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hearns prevents a takedown attempt there.

Boykin drags the fight down to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boykin working for submissions but it's allowed Hearns to get to half guard.
It looks like Hearns is going to stand back up.
Boykin is controlling Hearns's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Boykin trying to control but Hearns postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, if Hearns is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Boykin keeping control of the position.
Boykin wants to control but Hearns is keeping busy.
Hearns not doing much here.
Boykin is refusing to be controlled, as Hearns sits in half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hearns wants to stand up but Boykin has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boykin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hearns scores with a jab.
Boykin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Boykin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Hearns keeping moving, preventing Boykin from controlling successfully.
Hearns wants to get back to his feet but Boykin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Boykin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas Hearns dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Boykin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Boykin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hearns sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hearns slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Boykin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Boykin tries for a kimura but Hearns is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boykin wants to control but Hearns is keeping him busy.

Boykin has an Americana. Hearns didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boykin is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boykin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dimentiy Boykin!
