The fight stays on the outside here - Alemana looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Nitro shoots in and bounces Alemana off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

and Alemana decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nitro's guard.
Nitro has control of Alemana's left arm, preventing Alemana from doing any damage.

Nitro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alemana is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nitro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alemana's back instead.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

You can see the frustration on Alemana's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Alemana tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Alemana is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Nitro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Alemana bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Alemana postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nitro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alemana, into his guard.

Alemana working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nitro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nitro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alemana can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nitro controls the pace.

Alemana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nitro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Alemana has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nitro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alemana.
