The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fletcher looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Brooks!
Fletcher is looking to take a break and control but Brooks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brooks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fletcher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Brooks gets back to half guard.
Brooks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brooks moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fletcher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fletcher has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brooks to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fletcher is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brooks pulls down on the head and he's put Fletcher to sleep! This one is all over!
