Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgie Landis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold. Georgie Landis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landis sizes up Ortiz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Frito Ortiz has been cut.

Ortiz clinches.

Ortiz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ortiz moves out of range as Landis strikes.
Ortiz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice combo by Landis! Oh, that's hurt him - Ortiz falls to the canvas and Landis follows him into side control.

Landis manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Landis.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Landis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Landis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Landis drops Ortiz with a right and a left! Landis comes rushing in but Ortiz regains his composure and manages to keep Landis in guard.
Landis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Landis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Landis throws a series of punches but Ortiz avoids them all with ease.

Ortiz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Frito Ortiz's cut is getting worse.
Landis misses with a wild combination.
Landis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Landis cracks Ortiz with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ortiz falls to his knees and Landis doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
