The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCool manages to avoid it.
McCool shoots for a takedown but Strife saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McCool.
Nice takedown defense from Strife. No joy for McCool on that attempt.
Cloud Strife has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray McCool.

Strife has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McCool flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Strife is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McCool doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Strife.

Strife pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, McCool taps out and this one is all over!
