Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lynn Oneal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynn Oneal has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lynn Oneal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lucas lands a jab to the nose.

Oneal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lucas sprawls well initially but Oneal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Oneal keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Oneal working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Oneal is taking a breather. Lucas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Oneal scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lucas trying to control here.
Oneal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lucas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oneal controlling the action here.
Lucas is looking for a sweep. Oneal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oneal controlling the pace.
Oneal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lucas for as long as he can get away with.
Lucas is looking to improve his position.
Lucas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oneal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oneal is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Oneal controlling the action here.
Oneal landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Oneal is thwarting Lucas's attempts to control the position.
Oneal stalling.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Lucas closes the distance and clinches.
Lucas lands with a left to the head.


It looks like Lynn Oneal has been cut.
Lucas tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lucas keeps control of Oneal as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Oneal swings wildly with an uppercut but Lucas uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lucas lands an uppercut.
Lucas throws a punch but it's blocked by Oneal.
Lucas wants to get back to striking at distance but Oneal won't allow it.
Oneal is trying to break the clinch but Lucas has him pressed against the cage.
Lucas struggles to land a body shot inside as Oneal controls his hands.
Oneal is trying to pull guard but Lucas has him pressed against the cage.
Oneal misses with a body punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lucas wants to break free but Oneal has control.
Oneal fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lucas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Lucas.
Oneal working hard to break the clinch.
Lucas is trying to force a seperation but Oneal has the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Oneal gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Oneal stays in close to Lucas's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lynn Oneal will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Lynn Oneal's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Lucas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Oneal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As Lucas looks to move away, Oneal throws a big counter combo bu Lucas just gets out of the way.
Lucas jabs Oneal to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lucas lands a head shot.
A punch combination from Lucas misses.
A combination from Lucas does no damage.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lucas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Oneal is rocked!
Oneal takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oneal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lucas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oneal somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lynn Oneal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lucas lands an overhand right.
Lucas tries to clinch but Oneal is having none of it.
Oneal went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucas cracks Oneal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Oh Oneal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lucas lands a jab to Oneal's midsection.
Lucas blocks a head kick by Oneal.
Lucas cracks Oneal with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Oneal falls to his knees and Lucas doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabriel Lucas!
