Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitkoslav Boychitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitel King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitkoslav Boychitch!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boychitch throws out a powerful jab.
Boychitch throws a half hearted mid kick.
King fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boychitch lands a head kick!
Boychitch lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Boychitch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boychitch misses with a double jab.
King is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boychitch.

King closes the distance and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boychitch is trying to break free.
Boychitch tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage.
King tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boychitch gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from King.
Boychitch is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitel King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee is keeping an eye on King - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Boychitch breaks the clinch.
Boychitch feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boychitch lands with a kick to the ribs.
No luck for King with that takedown attempt.
King is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boychitch thuds his shin into the meat of King's side.

Boychitch lands a big right hand that sends King crashing to the mat! Boychitch stays standing though and waves King back to his feet!

King is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boychitch misses with a few strikes there.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boychitch's coach down at Highland Brawl Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boychitch's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Boychitch drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks King right on the button. King goes down! Boychitch follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Boychitch gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitkoslav Boychitch!
