Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aleksander Kawulski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alberto Contador!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kawulski gets a double leg takedown into Contador's guard.

Kawulski catches Contador with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kawulski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Contador on the side of the head.

Kawulski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Contador defends well and Kawulski ends up having to push Contador into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Contador wants to stand and escape but Kawulski is having none of it.

We've been hearing that Kawulski has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Kawulski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Contador's guard.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Contador is sitting in close to Kawulski's body. Kawulski has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Contador is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Contador is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kawulski.

A relieved looking Aleksander Kawulski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Alberto Contador had this to say: 'Fuck it, I knew Steel was gonna sack me before the fight, hope I get a new camp.'.
