The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozzi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rzhov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bozzi. Bozzi obviously looking to wear him down.
Bozzi misses with an uppercut. Rzhov saw that one coming.
Bozzi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rzhov swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bozzi counters with a straight right hand.
A cross from Bozzi lands.
Rzhov misses the shot to the body.
A head kick lands from Bozzi that sends Rzhov to the canvas. Rzhov tries to scramble back to his feet but Bozzi brings him back down into side control.
Rzhov is rocked!
It looks like Ovsey Rzhov has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bozzi scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rzhov is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bozzi can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Bozzi!
After winning the bout, Jason Bozzi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
