Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hyman England (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beric Usko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beric Usko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beric Usko!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

England takes the fight into the clinch.
England looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

England escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Usko tries a head kick but it misses.
England seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Usko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Beric Usko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Usko shoots in looking for a takedown. England tries to sprawl out of it but Usko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. England manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Usko looks to move away, England throws a big counter combo bu Usko just gets out of the way.
Hyman England has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beric Usko.

England changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Usko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Usko trying to control the position but instead, England has worked for underhooks and has pushed Usko into the cage.
Usko jumps guard but England turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

England breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

England working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Usko has passed into half guard!

Usko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for England!

England tries to lock up and control but Usko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
England is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
England wants to hold on but Usko pushes him away.
Hyman England overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Usko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
England wants to control but Usko is having none of it.
Usko won't let England get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

England somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Usko throws a head kick but England moves out of range.
England appears to be looking for a big counter.

Usko darts in and clinches England up against the cage.
Usko drops down looking for an ankle pick but England pulls his leg out and moves away.
Usko is breathing heavily.

England looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Usko!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Beric Usko will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! England's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Usko has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but England has passed into side control.
Usko takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

England creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Usko sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Usko tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Usko is squirming around, avoiding England's attempts to control the action.

England goes for an armbar but Usko turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Usko.
Usko wants to control from the top but England keeps moving.

Usko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

England is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
England looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Usko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
England is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

England closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Usko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but England wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Usko tries to kick England off in order to stand up. England Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
England lands some shots froms side control.

England wants to lay and pray for a moment but Usko keeps working.
Usko struggling a bit here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hyman England showed his dominance in that final round.
I think England has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
