Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Palavos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Hansen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Palavos was covering up waiting for the punch and Hansen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Palavos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hansen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hansen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Palavos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hansen has managed to get both his arms back between Palavos's legs - danger averted.

Palavos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hansen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hansen's back!

I really don't envy Hansen right now.

Palavos is working for a rear naked choke. Hansen is not defending it well and Palavos has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hansen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hansen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
