Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wi Tu Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devon Smith!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lo misses with a body shot.
Lo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Smith counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Devon Smith has been cut.
Lo misses the shot to the body.
Smith doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Lo throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lo tries to get out of the position.
Lo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lo is wriggling around but Smith manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lo won't allow Smith to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lo wants to get back to his feet.

Lo is not content to let Smith control the position.
Lo tries to kick Smith off but Smith keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Smith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lo tries to kick Smith off in order to stand up. Smith Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Smith has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lo!
Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lo is looking to escape.
Smith might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Smith won't let Lo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Lo somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Lo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wi Tu Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smith walks into a stiff left hand from Lo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lo. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Smith needs to keep his hands up - Lo had a free shot at his head there.
Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing.
Lo looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.

and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lo throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith moves out of range as Lo strikes.

Smith throws a jab when Lo was well out of range.
Lo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Lo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands.
Lo misses with a straight left.

and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Smith wants to counter with a clinch but Lo pushes him away.

Lo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wi Tu Lo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lo misses with a right hand
and Lo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Smith counters with a crisp one two that drops Lo! Smith thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lo to his feet! Lo is in big trouble!

and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Oh Lo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith scores with a hook to the body. Lo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lo takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Smith Throws a clean left jab. Smith Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Lo's chin! Lo crumbles to the ground and Smith follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Smith!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Devon Smith!
A relieved looking Devon Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
