Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaka KaSolomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lights. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. KaSolomon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brooks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into KaSolomon's guard.

We've been hearing good reports from KaSolomon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

KaSolomon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brooks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, KaSolomon has managed to get both his arms back between Brooks's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shaka KaSolomon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shaka KaSolomon.
