Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashton Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eaton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eminem - Berzerk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa lands a nice hook to Eaton's body. Eaton takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Eaton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barbosa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Eaton misses with a double jab.
Eaton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Eaton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Barbosa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The crowd cheers as Barbosa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eaton doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Eaton tries to close the distance and clinch but Barbosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
