Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Drake!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake moves out of range as Harris strikes.
Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Harris paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Drake bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Drake looks to land a left hand but Harris moved out of range nicely.

Drake darts in and clinches Harris up against the ropes.
Drake fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Drake.
Drake misses with a punch on the inside.
Drake throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Harriss head.
Drake working aggressively here.
Harris tries a body shot but Drake blocks it.
Drake lands with a short shot to the head.
Drake lands an uppercut.
Drake misses with a punch on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Drake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris wants to break the clinch but can't.
Drake misses with a punch on the inside.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Drake.

Harris is looking to break free of the clinch but Drake has double underhooks.
Drake throws a head punch that misses.
Harris lands a body shot in the clinch.
Drake swings wildly with an uppercut but Harris uses good head movement to avoid it.
Drake can't find room to land a body shot as Harris controls the action.
Harris has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Drake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Harris can't break the clinch.
Drake misses with a punch to the body.
Drake lands a shot to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Harris.
Harris throws a head punch that misses.
Drake misses with some punches.
Nice body punch from Drake - that landed with a thud.
Drake is working Harris over against the ropes.
Drake pushes Harris back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Drake lands a right hand.
Harris is breathing heavily.
Drake is leaning against Harris and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Still in the clinch, Drake scores with a nice short uppercut.
Drake lands a right hand that snaps the head of Harris backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drake blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Drake is leaning against Harris and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Drake scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drake creates a bit of distance and cracks Harris with a big uppercut! Harris goes down! The referee pushes Drake away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Harris make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Drake takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Drake!
A determined David Drake didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
