Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlito Seize (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice combo by Seize! Oh, that's hurt him - Belfort falls to the canvas and Seize follows him into side control.

Belfort is rocked!

It looks like Anderson Belfort has been cut.
Belfort looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Belfort is not content to let Seize control the position.
Belfort is still in real trouble! Can Seize finish him?
Belfort should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Seize stands up and beckons Belfort to his feet.
Belfort seems to have recovered his senses.

Seize scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Seize throws a left that rocks Belfort and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Seize dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Belfort regain composure!

Seize shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belfort's guard.

Seize is trying to maintain a safe position but Belfort gets an underhook and turns Seize into the cage.

Belfort is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Seize can't fight it off and eventually Belfort manages to take the fight to the floor. Seize looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Seize has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belfort is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Belfort wants to stand up but Seize has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Seize trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Belfort manages to pass to mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Belfort can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Seize is looking to escape.
Belfort avoids the attempt from Seize to control.
Seize manages to regain half guard. Good work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Seize is not content to let Belfort control the position.

Seize tries for a takedown but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Belfort throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Seize blocks it with crossed arms.

Seize changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Belfort looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Seize has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Belfort counters with a three punch combo that has Seize backing up. Seize nods at Belfort to acknowledge the strikes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlito Seize.
