Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Honza Kucera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Dre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dr Dre!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dre scores with a takedown into Kucera's guard.

Kucera is looking for a triangle but Dre pushes his legs off easily.
Dre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kucera swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kucera manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dre seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kucera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kucera had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dre defends it easily.

Dre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kucera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dre is looking to stand up but Kucera isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dre closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kucera quickly recovers to half guard.
Dre thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kucera's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dre is stalling here. Kucera is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dre seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kucera has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dre has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Kucera's lack of action.
Kucera uses his free foot to push down on Dre's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dre.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kucera is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dre to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dre shrugs it off.

Kucera is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dre rolls with it to try and escape but Kucera cranks on the arm and Dre is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
