The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots for a takedown but Dawson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Man moves in looking to clinch but Dawson pushes him off.
Man misses with a takedown attempt - Dawson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Man shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dawson but Dawson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A little feinted left hand from Dawson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Dawson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Dawson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Man backwards.

Man tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dawson smiles and moves away.

Dawson lands a left and a right that send Man crashing to the mat, dazed. Dawson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Dawson counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Man with a poor takedown
and Dawson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Man glances at the clock... BAM! Dawson nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Man crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Man is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
